Course Description

This class focuses on intercultural exchange and comparative/related cultural history. You will read representations on literature, art, design, architecture, movies, fashion, and more from the 19th century and beyond, and learn to express them in Japanese. This will be done through individual presentations and class discussions, and also include field work.
