Course Description

The aim of this course is to learn various aspects of Japanese economy by using analytical methods of economics. In spring course, after giving lectures on economic theory, follow-up of the development of Japanese economy, pre-war days up to the present, would be undertaken, and current issues and future trends of Japanese economy would be discussed. Students are to be required to make a habit of thinking about how is the economic conditions in Japan, how will be Japan's economic growth in the future.
