Course Description

This seminar I deals with the effects of globalization since 1990’s on the Japanese Economy. Since 1985, globalization of Japanese manufacturing industries changed industrial structure in Japan, and caused hollowing out of manufacturing industries in our local economies. How does our economy cope with globalization? We do group work, and make a power point presentation once a month and adress these issues.
