Course Description

This course introduces the theory and practice of translation from Spanish to Japanese. Students will learn technique for translation through practice of a variety of texts such as news articles, novels, blog articles about Japanese culture and society, movies and so on.
By the end of the course, students are expected to make progress in translation technique, taking different styles of writing into consideration.
