Course Description

In this course, we will focus on the several important topics on international economics from the point of view of interaction between Japan and foreign economies. By reviewing major economic topics in the Japanese history in the last 30 years, such as direct investment, agriculture, and the exchange rate, we see that movements in the international economy influenced the various economic activities in Japan.
