Course Description

　The aim of this course is for students to understand fundamental aspects of Insurance Act and learn the basic knowledge of them.
　In “Insurance Law”, we mainly deal with legal issues concerning some kinds of insurance contracts and other issues related to interpretation of general insurance provisions.
　The topics are as follows: Introduction for Insurance; Variety and Functions of Insurance; Supervision of Insurance; Non-life Insurance (Property Insurance, Fire Insurance and Liability Insurance etc.); Automobile Liability Insurance; Life Insurance; Accident and Health Insurance; etc.
