Course Description

This class is taught by a teacher who is a pediatrician.
In this class, students will study mainly exercise physiology and pathology to understand mental retardation more deeply.Students will acquire basic medical knowledge about representative diseases, concerning chromosomal aberrations, genetic diseases and metabolic disorders.And also students will study the psychological examination including especially intelligence tests to evaluate the psychological characteristics of the children with metal disabilities. Furthermore, students will study the importance of the cooperation with medical care and educational supports for the mentally retarded children.
