Course Description

The functions of urban cities have changed with the times. In recent years many cities around the world are working on planning a new development as tourist destination and often find drawbacks.
This course highlights urban tourism analyzing the major factors as tourist destination. Students will study appealing aspects of cities such as unique landscape, commercial areas, events/festivals, a variety of foods and entertainment facilities. They will also learn preservation of historical landscape as well as the agenda on it.
