Course Description

The financial and securities markets play a major role in national economy. While providing a place for financing to companies and governments, it also provides for fund management for households, pension funds, etc. In this lecture, we aim to broadly acquire the basic concepts and roles of financial and securities markets and to further consider the issues surrounding the markets. Initially, classes will focus on lectures, but considering the progress of basic understanding, we may also have the sessions of discussions, group work and presentations as appropriate.
