Course Description

Cultural heritage is a valuable heritage that our ancestors have created and conveyed to the present. However, as is seen in the destruction of Great Buddha statues in Bamiyan, Afghanistan and cultural heritage in Iraq and Syria, many cultural heritages are currently in danger of disappearing. In this lesson, we will learn about the current situation and efforts to protect cultural heritage. Also, we will consider how to pass down valuable cultural heritage in the future based on concrete cases overseas. Furthermore, we invite experts who are active in the field of cultural heritage protection and think what we can do to protect cultural heritage.
