Course Description

In this seminar, we will study the present situation and problems of Asian Economy from the perspective of development economics and history. We will discuss the important issues of Asian society. We will read the elementary textbooks and articles. Therefore, prerequisite knowledge is not required. But the participants of the seminar have to read the assigned textbooks and articles in advance and to make presentations in class. We will decide the details of the seminar after the first meeting.
