Course Description

The theme is "How do businesses, globalization, media technology change education?"
There are various "external pressures" that change the common sense of school education to change. Among them, focusing on businessization, globalization and media technology in particular. Originally they have different logic, but since the 21st century they have been tied together, trying to significantly change the common sense of conventional school education.
In the lesson, in the area called EdTech (education × technology), we analyze the change that occurred in the 2010s and examine the meaning. I hope to be calmly discussed while positioning what is happening at the forefront of EdTech as an analysis framework of text.
