Course Description

The world cultural heritage attracts attention of world people as having outstanding universal value. However, a lot of cultural heritage with various value are also found around us. In this practice, you really visit the local cultural heritage, investigate the situation, and learn about the way of the utilization. Also following practice in Art History and Cultural Heritages 3A- I in spring, you will learn scientific investigation using large installed analytical instruments and conservation treatments using equipment. This practice is conducted while training camp in the accommodation of Teikyo University Research Institute of Cultural Properties in the summer vacation.
