Course Description

This course aims to develop students’ communicative English skills in order to deliver an effective presentation on everyday life in Japan. Students will be provided with many opportunities to review and practice the vocabulary with which to explain Japanese things in English, as well as the skills of effective presentation. The unit topics will feature a variety of subjects such as how to take a bath, how to pray at temples and shrines, or how to use chopsticks. Upon the completion of this course, students will be able to talk about Japanese life in English fluently and confidently.
