Course Description

This class is a seminar-style class for learning academic research methods. The purpose is to develop the ability of each student to select a topic in oriental history, investigate it, and present their results. In the first part, everyone reads a short text on oriental history centered on the early modern and modern history of China, and analyses the author how solves the problem. The second part is to make use of the ability to set and investigate problems acquired through reading in a circle, and to present each person's own theme and present their opinions.
