Course Description

The aim of this course is to deepen our understanding of development economics and Asian economy. We will consider the important issues of Asian society such as poverty and ethnic conflicts. We will read the elementary textbooks and articles on this field. Therefore, prerequisite knowledge is not required. But the participants of the class have to read the assigned textbooks and articles in advance and to make presentations in class. We will decide the details of the course after the first meeting. .
