Course Description

Japanese economic history looks at the economic aspects of cultural systems through the social history that has been with us from the dawn of man to the present day. This course will help students to understand the historical importance of the Japanese economic performance, the cumulative change of the Japanese economy and its place in the present world. And this course looks to open up the fields of economic history to students who have already completed the more fundamental course in “History of Japanese Economy I” held in the previous term. The course consists of lectures, readings, identifying actual conditions through academic achievement surveys, two small test with 25 questions and Term-end Exam Paper Review.
