This course covers the theory of economic development,mainly focusing on the Indian economy.It starts with the pattren of economic development in Asia,followed by a comparison of economic development in China,Russia and India.In the second semester,we will pursue an analysis of the Indian economy from various aspects including its political and social dimensions.Lectures will be in Japanese.
