Course Description

It is one of the compulsory subjects for obtaining a teaching license for kindergartens and elementary schools. Educational counseling, which provides appropriate tailor-made support for a child who faces personal worry and issue, is a one to one educational activity for supporting children’s adaptation and development. In the beginning of the course, students would acquire the basic knowledge of psychology necessary for educational counseling, and then they would learn to deal with a variety of issues happening in the field of education through work and role play, so that they can develop deeper understanding of the detailed counseling procedures, organizational policy and the need of collaboration.
