Course Description

The main object of this lecture is to understand the economy of the United States of America. For this object, I will take up following subjects.
Poverty and growing wealth gap, twin deficits, deregulation and quantitative easing, securitization and financial instability, key currency system, populism and protectionism, religion and
anti-intellectualism.
