Course Description

This course will start by covering the current crime situation in Japan, and expand into studying the basics of the past theories about what causes crimes. We will discuss current representative and characteristic criminal phenomena in Japan, and study their cause and how penal statues are being applied to them. I will like to make the lecture both concrete and practical as much as possible.
