Course Description

In working toward their graduation thesis, students will conduct sociological research on a particular theme.
　In Seminar: Sociology I and II, students will read the literature of their interest and make presentations on those texts. Through the process of reading, presenting, sharing ideas, and listening to the presentations of others, students will broaden their interests in Part I and gradually hone their focus in Part II. At the end of Sociology II, students will develop and submit a research proposal for Seminar: Sociology III and IV.
