Course Description

In the course of spring, students learned how to read and treat the thesis, so in the autumn, they select research subjects from the Palaeolithic and Jomon periods and study the subjects. This allows students to accurately understand the outcome and problems of the subject. Students who wish to prepare graduation theses need to find concrete research themes by this course. It is necessary to set a theme in each group or individual, and announce it. After the presentation, discussions will be held and students will accurately understand the theme. Incidentally, the theme concerns the Palaeolithic and Jomon periods, but also includes those related to the natural environment and archaeological methodology. For students wishing to pursue other subjects, please consult with the teacher in charge in advance.
