Course Description

If we can conduct field surveys well, we will be able to write better geographical articles and reports. In this class, I will first explain basic field survey methodology. After that, students will learn how to collect and read both old and new topographical maps, analyze statistics, draw maps, create graphs and tables, and conduct interviews. Based on such methods, students will participate in a field survey with me to better understand these methods and skills.
