Course Description

In this course, students will read a book by Eliza R. Scidmore, a famous American geographer. Students read his book "Jinrikisha Days in Japan" to learn culuture, society and landscape in Japan during the early 20th century. After this course, students obtain basic knowledge and skill to read geographical literature.
