Course Description

World economy is affected heavily by international politics in recent years. It is obvious when you look at various phenomena related to US presidential election, US-China friction and Middle East instability in last few years. In this class, economic changes will be examined through new examples. And by analyzing those cases by political and historical viewpoint, students are expected to consider and forecast what will happen next. This course is aiming at reviewing variety of knowledge about economy and economics which students have learned before and also at making sure of them in addition to fostering flexible way of thinking to assess move of actual economy.
