Course Description

The aim of this course is to provide you with enough motivation and tools to continue studying English after graduation. You might want to have some knowledge of such topics as:
・Dictionaries and other reference books
・The Latin alphabet and the other alphabets: Greek, Cyrillic, etc.
・Punctuation and numbers
・“British English” and “American English”
・The British monarch and the American president; heraldry
・First names and family names
・Proverbs and twisted proverbs
・Puns and ethnic jokes
・Nursery rhymes and tongue twisters
