Course Description

This course focuses on issues faced by local people in Asian and African countries, including Japan. In particular, it looks at refugees, child labour, and gender with special attention to children and women/girls. The course utilises resources such as textbooks and documentary films. By exploring their circumstances, students learn current issues and some practices to overcome their challenges.
