Course Description

This class aims to deepen the understanding of the Korean society in general by dealing with a wide range of topics such as Korean history, culture, society, education, and language. Students decide on a theme they are interested in, collect information and organize the contents, and make a presentation. The presentation should be organized in a way that the listener can easily understand. When a student makes a presentation, others should listen carefully, cherishing questions, new discoveries, and new knowledge. After the presentation, every student takes part in the discussion actively. Through this work, students will learn how to write a dissertation and submit an essay at the end of the semester.
