Course Description

1. Outline of class
In this lesson you will learn how to write and give presentations in German. We will deal with various topics throughout the year. The process is always that you first develop the necessary vocabulary on the topic, then prepare the lectures and finally give the presentations.

2. Class goal
In addition to dealing with a topic for your presentation, you will learn which vocabulary and which grammar is used to prepare a lecture. You will also learn how to prepare a lecture and give feedback after a presentation.

3. Grading methods and criteria
Teilnahme am Unterricht und Vor- bzw. Nachbereitung: 40%, Präsentation 40% und Feedback: 20%.

4. Textbooks and Reference Books
Im Unterricht werden Kopien zum Thema verteilt.

5. Contents of preparation study
Die bestimmten Themen müssen wöchentlich vorbereitet werden: Vokabeln und Redemittel lernen, möglicherweise nötige Grammatik wiederholen.

6. Other notes on study
Studierende, die zu einer Präsentation nicht anwesend sind, müssen diese zum nächstmöglichen Termin nachholen. Werden Präsentationen nicht nachgeholt, so können sie dafür keine Punkte erhalten.
