Course Description

Why do our human psychology and behavior differ from one another? Is it the influence of the way our parents raised us? Is it due to friendships? Or are we born with different genes? In this course, students will learn the basic research methods of personality and gain a broad understanding of the findings of scientific and empirical research, from the classical to the cutting edge, by approaching human personality from the perspective of personality and emotions. In particular, by introducing research using the methodology of behavioral genetics, we will focus on the genetics of personality and emotions, and aim to develop a perspective to understand human diversity.
