Course Description

The fields covered by financial theory are quite wide-ranging, such as household and corporate financing and management, relationship banking, non-traditional monetary policy, and the euro crisis issue. In this course, we aim to understand the reality of finance based on the theoretical knowledge of economics and to be able to explain the relationship between finance and the actual situation of the Japanese economy. In the second semester, the goal is to understand the basic idea of monetary policy by the Bank of Japan and to be able to explain the role that monetary policy plays in the Japanese economy.
