Course Description

We will practice basic Japanese conversation needed on campus and in daily life. The focus is on speaking and listening skills, but we will also learn basic Hiragana and Katakana as well as some Kanjis. The class also considers key ideas to get better understanding of Japanese people and culture. The students will make a final presentation regarding Japanese culture by working with Japanese students.
