Course Description

Many articles around Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Information Technology (IT) appear in newspaper everyday.
Some gloomy opinions such as "AI will deprive us of our future jobs" or "human beings will soon be dominated by AI" are prevalent. But AI is already existing around us.
In this class, explanation for the basic concepts of AI and IT will be given, and students will consider the fundamental subjects of AI and IT from sociological point of view. You can also deepen your understanding by building a simple AI model on individual PC. An overview of the AI ​​and IT technology widely spread over society will be covered focusing on actual example cases.
