Course Description

What does innovation mean? In Japanese, it is often translated as "technological innovation," but is this true? Today, the importance of innovation is being emphasized in every world and industry. It is very wide-ranging, ranging from product development, institutional design, and even individual life planning. New ideas and new values are important.
In order to create "new ideas" and "new value," we need a process that draws on our creativity (imagination) to discover the issues that truly need to be solved through repeated trial and error. This is "design thinking. In order to be able to practice the process of Design Thinking at any time, we aim to identify changes (innovations) that have occurred at turning points in culture, technology, art, thought, etc. together, and to be able to work on innovations with creativity (imagination).
