Course Description

The object of this lecture is to learn the EU as the most developed model of regional economic integration. In this lecture, particularly following subjects will be treated: Birth and evolution of the ECSC/EEC/EC/EU, European Integration in the globalization from the 1970s, common policies by the EC/EU, the monetary cooperation, the Economic and Monetary Union, the introduction of EURO, the EURO crisis, and current status and issues of the EU.
