Course Description

This lecture covers economic thought in the UK, France and Germany from the late 18th century to the early 20th century. Particularly following subjects will be treated: Economic thought during the Industrial Revolution in the UK, economic thought of free trade during the 19th century, economic thought before the Industrial Revolution in France and Germany, and economic thought on poverty issues and social issues from the end of the 19th century to the beginning of the 20th century.
