Course Description

For music lessons at elementary school, teachers must acquire basic piano performance skills, and also learn how to sing while playing the piano, so as to encourage children’s musical activities. It is strongly recommended that they revisit basic musical knowledge that is vital to carrying out music education and improve their ability to read musical notes, so as to enhance hands-on instructional ability. In this class, students will aim to acquire fundamental skills of piano performance and concurrent singing techniques, with a focus on common teaching materials for singing for elementary school levels, so that they improve their musical ability as instructors.
