Course Description

It is widely recognized that the Asian economy has achieved the best performance in the world in the last 50 years. In this class, the participants will learn (1) what was the background of the success of the Asian economy, (2) what were the driving forces for growth, and (3) what will become the challenges threatening the further growth of Asian economies. The highly rated "Gendai ajia keizairon" is used as the textbook, which would be difficult for an individual to read through whole chapters.
