Course Description

Reading “Asia’s Journey to Prosperity: Policy, Market, and Technology Over 50 Years”, ADB (Asian Development Bank), 2020, we discuss and learn the mechanism and issues on economic development in Asia. We also study political economy in Asia while the aim of this course should be to understand of economic development in Asia in total.
Our time arrangement plan during 90 min. class will be;
30% for students’ presentation and reading of the textbook,
40 % for Q&A and discussion on the chapter topics of the textbook.
And other 30 % for contemporary discussion of new in Asia that weeks.
(Depends on the number of students and the way of teaching (online), syllabus and style of teaching may change.)
