Course Description

The purpose of this lecture is to clarify the trends and current issues of the Japanese economy while introducing the basic theories of economics and how to read economic data. Specifically, the history of the Japanese economy since World War II will be explained in an easy-to-understand manner, using resumes and materials to be handed out, and following the time period divisions of the designated textbook.
