Course Description

In this seminar, we will deepen our understanding of social problems through the reading of designated texts, followed by student group works, fieldworks, presentations, and discussions. We will learn about fundamental methods of research and presentation on community problems, including topics such as poverty, population aging, childcare and local vitalization. During the second semester, students will deepen their own questions and prepare presentations for debriefing sessions on campus.
