Course Description

The most significant change in the modern media environment is the dramatic expansion of content choice. Polarization of public opinion and media has risen, as endless content is available on computer, mobile devices, television, newspaper etc.
In this class, newspaper articles, online articles, and videos are shown and discussed with the students. Students also write essays on controversial topics, which helps them develop logical and critical thinking skills as well as media literacy skills in a natural way.
