Course Description

This class is aimed at students who have mastered intermediate grammar and everyday conversation level Spanish and aims to acquire advanced translation skills. You will learn the technique of understanding Spanish sentences accurately based on grammatical knowledge and translating them into correct Japanese sentences, instead of connecting the meanings of words and "somehow understanding the meaning".
This class is divided into the first half and the second half.
・ The first half translates the text theme. At first, we will translate with the power of pair work without a dictionary, and later we will discuss translation in group work. Then ask them to submit their final translation. If you do not submit it, you will be absent. If you have any questions, feel free to ask questions.
・ In the second half, we will translate Spanish-speaking stories in pair work. The translated version will be a booklet
