Course Description

Studying sociological history means acquiring various sociological viewpoints from which you can understand our modern societies more deeply. In addition to that, investigating past ideas of sociologists also means deepening your understanding of current sociological thoughts.
The aim of this course is to give students concrete images of societies which different sociologists had in their minds rather than merely teaching abstract theories academically. In other words, I'd like to teach students social theories they could adapt for the real world.
