Course Description

People often regard history as just an accumulation of past events. They often disregard history as a boring subject. But only wise men can learn much from history if they take a proper angle of the event. In this semester we will focus on an Era of Grand Navigation. In the seminar, we touch upon the strategy of each individual and development plans for organizations in the past. Now that we face a serious transition period of World development, we should understand how people in the ancient world endeavor their effort to overcome the difficulties of their age. By studying those historical developments, the students will be able to cope with new challenges in front of them.
