Course Description

Why do we pay taxes? How is the usage of tax revenue decided? How does public deficit occur? In what way is the pension system managed? In order to learn how to observe the problems of our own society from a familiar point of view, we will view concrete examples and consider these familiar questions regarding public finance. Through the lectures, we will learn fundamental topics of public finance such as budget compilation, tax, public expenditure. During the second semester, we will learn the fundamentals of local public finance and social security.
