Course Description

When we think about the modern european societies, the more important elements in their formation are the history of the lifestyle quotidien ways, that might be presented in the everyday practice of eating, wearing and living lifestyles. In our style of these fields have been influenced much by the european style of life, like their not Kimono clothes as the dresses, skirts and pants, which differs entirely from our Bushi-style male wearing. And our Tatami room was replaced by the wood flooring that need beds and chairs to live in. But in the field of food, we eat yet traditional japanese materials like raw fish and many rice that couldn't be replaced by bread.
So in this class we make focus on the developpement of european clothes that has largely changed our style of wearing, in particular, the french history of clothes from 18th century to the end of 19th century.
