Course Description

What kind of world are we living in today? Even if a person lives in a society, they cannot understand it from within. For instance, how come we are unable to overcome the phenomenon of overwork leading to death, even though we've been told we were raised in a society that has advanced science, technology, and legal systems?
Many different people have expressed diverse views on this society. The purpose of this seminar is to borrow wisdom from our ancestors and share that information with you, the student. Opportunities to try to understand society as comprehensively as possible are extremely rare, especially as a working member of Japanese society. Let's think together and try to understand a little about this society and what kind of society you yourselves would like to live in.
