Course Description

Contemporary tourism is a socio-economic phenomenon which plays an important role in establishing the cultural situation of modern society as well as being an one of largest industry in economy today. In this lecture, we focus on viewpoints of tourism that does not necessarily depend on the industry theory, study the theories of cross-cultural communication and examine the cultural diversity of tourist destinations from the perspective of food culture.
